Hi there, I'm Jake!

I was born in Portland, Oregon and raised in Bend, Oregon. It was during high school that I fell in love with acting and live performance and decided to do whatever I could to spend the rest of my life making art. I attended the Oregon Shakespeare Festival Summer Seminar for High School Juniors in 2013, and was introduced to an astounding amount of amazing artists and theatre creators.

In fact I loved it so much I ended up enrolling at the Oregon Center for the Arts at Southern Oregon University, right down the street from OSF. I had the chance to work with fantastic professionals such as Octavio Solis, Jim  Edmondson, U. Jonathon Toppo, James Donlon, Jackie Apodaca, and many others.

I graduated in 2019 and travelled as well as worked with different theatre companies such as Struts and Frets Theatre Company in Salem, OR and Puppeteers for Fears! In Fall of 2023 I have relocated to Staunton, VA where I have entered into Shakespeare and Performance Graduate Program at Mary Baldwin University in association with the American Shakespeare Center. After earning my Master of Letters I am aiming to finish my Master of Fine Arts while being an Actor and Production Manager for Constellation Shakespeare Collective.
